If we are unable to provide you with a mystery box because you own a lot of the games already, we will contact you to arrange a refund or work out other options.
TGM boxes require a lot of effort to fulfil, so dispatch may take longer than you would normally expect from us at Travel-Games.
The Mystery Boxes were created as a way to fairly distribute popular games from the TGM that were printed in very very low quantities (e.g. Bested another time, Dodecitre, Take that job, etc), therefore we cannot accommodate specific requests/bespoke boxes.
It is important to note these boxes are value based not size based. Therefore a mega fan box could come in a medium sized shipping box or a fan box may come in a large shipping box.
Alot of games from Tokyo game market are self published and handmade (as a result component quality can vary wildly), and those that were sold on smaller stands are limited to selling games stored in large ziplock baggies (this section of Tokyo Game Market is known fondly as chuck bag alley, and where I think a lot of gems can be found).
AI artwork is pretty uncommon at TGM and will apparently be banned from spring 2026! there is a checkbox at checkout if you would like to avoid AI art work. I will do my best to avoid it for you, but I am not foolproof.
