Hamish Con 2025 – A Big Day for Small Games
Warwick, 08/11/2025 10:00 - 20:30

Hamish Con is back for 2025 – a cosy, one-day celebration of Small Card Games, Imported Games, and Indie Game Design. Taking place in a welcoming church venue in Warwick, this is a laid-back gathering for players, designers, and anyone curious about the world of independent tabletop games.

It is important to note that this is an adults only event (18+).

What’s Included:
• A small goodie bag on arrival
• Free parking at the venue
• Travel-games.co.uk Click & Collect – pre-order online, pick up in person
• Mini Game Market – discover new indie titles and chat with the designers behind them, maybe design your own?
• Have a game of you have desinged? Bring it along to demo or sell a few at our mini gamemarket.
• More activities to be announced.

Rather than a formal games library, we’ll have a simple system for attendees to lend and borrow games they bring – only if you’re comfortable, and always with care.

Come meet fellow enthusiasts, try something new, and celebrate the creativity behind small-box gaming.
Spaces are limited – book early to join us.

Rules & Guidelines

1. Be Kind. Be Respectful.
Treat everyone—attendees, designers, volunteers, and organisers—with courtesy and respect. We're here to enjoy games, share ideas, and build community.

2. Consent First, Always.
Whether it’s borrowing a game, joining a table, or giving feedback—ask first. A polite request goes a long way.

3. Lending & Borrowing Games
We’ll have a simple system in place to help attendees share games:

  • Only lend if you’re fully comfortable.

  • If borrowing, treat every game as if it’s your own—return it promptly and in good condition.

  • Use the lending and borrowing cards to make sure games don’t get misplaced.

4. Respect the Space
Our venue is a working church and community space. Please:

  • Keep food and drink to designated areas

  • Tidy up after yourself

  • Be gentle with furniture and fittings

5. Share the Tables
Designers will be showing off their creations, and players may want to jump into something new. If you’ve been at a table for a while, be open to rotating or sharing space.

6. Bring Your Own Games (BYOG)
You're welcome to bring your favourite small games—or your own prototypes. We encourage sharing, playtesting, and feedback, but again: ask first.

7. No Sales Without Approval
Designers may offer games through our mini market with prior agreement. Please check with the organisers before setting up anything for sale, we may also be able to help with presales, and selling any stock left over after the event.

8. Keep It Friendly
While this is an adult-focused event, please keep language and behaviour appropriate for a welcoming, inclusive environment.

9. Respect Photography Boundaries
Photos help us share the fun, but always ask before taking pictures of other attendees or their games. Badges will be provided for those who don’t want to be in photos or would like to be asked first.

10. If You Need Help—Ask!
Organisers and volunteers will be clearly marked. If something goes wrong or you have a question, just ask. We want everyone to have a good time.

11. No Capes!
Nah, we’re just kidding you can wear a cape if you really want to, just avoid really long ones that will trip you and other up.

Yeah, dude I wanna go! (buy now)
