Banana Boy vs Uni Cone

£12.00

This game is in Japanese but is language-independent (no Japanese text on cards), a pdf copy of the English rules will be provided with the game if they are not included within the box.

Banana Boy VS Uni-Cone (or Banana Boy for short) is a card-matching game in which you can put the world back together in whacky ways. Simply say what you see on two cards, flip them, and take them if they match. The player with the most cards wins. The 3 TWISTS that make it stand out are:

1. The 32 cards are double-sided with different pictures on the front and back. After you flip cards to find matches, the cards DO NOT GET FLIPPED BACK. So everyone knows what is on the other side. But your brain tries to erase that after seeing what was just revealed. Players who want to win will be engaged throughout the game, not just on their turn.

2. The card pictures come in 4 colors or types (food, vehicles, living, things). If you flip cards that reveal the same color, you take 1 card. If you match the pictures, you take both cards. It's easy (and a good strategy) to MATCH COLORS. The game ends when there are 6 cards left. It does not outstay its welcome.

3. You can RESERVE A CARD at any time, even on another player's turns. Reserve a card to prevent your opponent from getting a match or to secure one of the cards you MUST flip on your turn. Other players know this and should make it hard for you to find a match.

You can play with 16 of the 32 cards, the other 16 cards, or combine both sets.

Compete to find imperfect matches, make silly combinations, or just have fun forgetting what you just saw, said, and flipped.
