This game is in Japanese but is language-independent (no Japanese text on cards), a pdf copy of the English rules will be provided with the game if they are not included within the box.

COMBO TRAX is a fighting game for 2 players using the mechanisms of a climbing game. Each player starts the game with 20 HP, and when a player passes, they will take damage based upon the last card(s) played by their opponent. They will also increase their power gauge.

Further, each player has special techniques that can be triggered depending upon the suits of the cards played, with the suits representing the buttons that would've been hit in an arcade game. Players may also be able to overlap the suits so as to make combos of their moves.

The first player to eliminate their opponent wins, or play best 2 out of 3.
