Identity (IMPORT)
This game is Japanese but is language-independent and English rules are provided as PDF's if they are not within the box.
Being like everyone else is boring! In this trick-taking game, embracing your unique identity is the path to victory. Each player secretly declares how many tricks they aim to win, even negative numbers are valid, by using two cards from their hand. Then comes the battle of bold plays, bluffing, and unpredictable results as players try to match their declared outcome. Identity is a trick-taking game with a unique bidding system and a custom Must Not Follow rule. Each trick, players must play face-up cards that differ in both number and suit from cards already on the table — if they can. Otherwise, they may play a card face-down. Tricks are awarded either as “Plus Tricks” (for the highest number played) or “Minus Tricks” (for those who play face-down), and your final score depends on how close your result is to the victory count you declared at the start. The closer the match, the more points you score.
