Monster Taking is a must follow trick-taking game for 2 players, with a player drafted trump suit. Each card has a certain number of pips on it, in addition to the rank.
If the 2 players play the same suit, the person who loses the trick must give their opponent a number of cards from their hand equal to the difference of the pips on the cards in the trick. If the cards are of different suits, then the loser of the tricks discards such cards rather than giving them to their opponent.
The first person to run out of cards in their hand loses.
