Rotate (IMPORT)

£28.00

This game is Japanese but is language-independent and English rules are provided as PDF's if they are not within the box.

Players face off in a clever contest of perception and timing, where shifting perspectives and spatial awareness redefine the rhythm of play. Every round brings a dynamic change in orientation, as cards literally rotate on the table, twisting strategies and alliances. It’s a mental duel of anticipation and adaptation as players harness the flow of verticals and horizontals to outmaneuver rivals and claim victory.

Rotate is a trick-taking game for 3–5 players that introduces a unique rotation mechanic: each card can be played in either a vertical or horizontal orientation, showing different numerical values depending on its facing. Players follow suit and compete to win tricks, but specific card interactions can trigger a Rotate condition, causing all cards in play to rotate 90 degrees and change their active values. Special “X” cards add further chaos by instantly flipping the entire field.

Scoring depends on which orientation (vertical or horizontal) dominates, creating a tug-of-war of tactical shifts. The player who best adapts to the ever-changing landscape wins.
