Square on Sale (IMPORT)
This game is in Japanese but is language-independent (no Japanese text on cards), a pdf copy of the English rules will be provided with the game.
Square on Sale combines elements of Othello, an auction game, and Manhattan. Players bid for the right to build stories of buildings on different blocks. However, in a manner very reminiscent of Othello, when you build in two different blocks, you also get to add a floor of your color to any building in between. When the game ends, the player who owns the top floor of the building scores all of the points. The components are mostly wood, and of good quality, but this is clearly a scratch-built game.
