Trick and Trade

£28.00
sold out

This game is in Japanese but is language-independent (no Japanese text on cards), a pdf copy of the English rules will be provided with the game.

Trick and Trade is a "may-follow" trick-taking game themed around cryptocurrency speculation.

There are four suits for the 4 competing currencies, and a separate deck of cards which will represent the players' holdings in those currencies.

At the end of a trick, the highest ranked card of the lead suit goes to a market area, with the market value of cards being inversely related to their rank. Also at the end of a trick, the players draft, in card strength order, one of the holdings cards from a face up display.

At the end of a hand, the players will rank the currency's values based upon the cards from each suit which won tricks, with the most valued being worth 3 points per holding, then 2, then 1, then -1. The players value their holdings, record their scores, and the player with the most points wins.
