トリッククエスト (Trick Quest) is a trick-taking role-playing game from Japan. Players have RPG roles such as mage or fighter, and progress along an adventure path by winning tricks. When a player wins cards in suit matching their character, they can improve their abilities.
Each player gets a RPG character and work together to complete the quest. Players move along a path on a game board, and where the path diverges, they can split or stay together. Players can work up and down the path, repeating sections to build up their characters.
As players face each challenge, they play a trick-taking game. The suits correspond to the characters; armour for the martial artist, tools for the mage and wizard, ornaments for the monk and so on. By collecting cards in their suit, a character can get Trick Points (TP) and use them to upgrade their abilities, and to level up to unlock higher strengths.
Players win the game by completing the quest, finding the legendary GodBird and ridding the world of disease.
